The service

Quote Writer provides editable trade templates and a quote calculator for US contractors. Building and previewing quotes is free. The preview carries a Preview watermark. PDF downloads and sending quotes by email require an active Pro subscription.

Price, renewal and cancellation

Pro costs $15 USD per month, billed through Stripe and renewed monthly until canceled. Any applicable checkout taxes are shown by Stripe. Use “Manage or cancel plan” in the tool to manage billing or cancel anytime. Cancellation stops future renewals; access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period while Stripe reports the subscription as active. Failed payments or an inactive subscription may prevent downloads and sends. Contact us about billing errors or refund requests. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights.

Your responsibility for each quote

You are responsible for quantities, prices, tax rates, scope, exclusions, license details, deposit requirements, payment terms and the quote’s accuracy. Review every quote before downloading or sending it. You must comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, including contractor licensing, sales tax, required notices and deposit limits. Templates and calculations are not legal or tax advice and do not guarantee that a quote is a compliant contract.

Email and acceptable use

Only send quotes to clients who expect them, using a business reply-to address you control. Do not send spam, impersonate another business, abuse restoration emails or use the service unlawfully. Email delivery depends on the recipient’s provider and is not guaranteed. We may restrict abusive use.

Drafts and availability

Drafts are stored in your browser, not in an online account. Clearing browser data removes drafts. Keep your own copies of important quotes. We aim to provide a working service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or protection from browser data loss. Standard PDF fonts may substitute unsupported characters. Check your exported PDF.

Liability and changes

To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information you enter, unsuitable template wording, missed communications or lost local drafts. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Material service or pricing changes will be communicated before they apply to your subscription.
