Your quote and browser storage

Your business details, client details and draft quote are saved only in this browser’s localStorage. We do not receive them while you edit. They stay until you clear the draft or clear your browser’s site data. They are not synced or backed up by us. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to access the draft.

Downloading and sending

When you choose Download PDF or confirm Send to client, your quote content is sent to a Cloudflare Pages Function to build a PDF. We do not store the quote or PDF on our server. When sending, Resend receives the recipient address, your reply-to email and the quote PDF to deliver the email. The recipient and email providers may retain their copies. We do not use quote content for marketing.

Subscriptions and restoring access

Stripe handles checkout and payment card details. We can see your email, customer and subscription IDs and subscription status through Stripe. We check subscription status when you download or send. Restoration uses your checkout email to find an active subscription and Resend to deliver a signed sign-in link valid for 15 minutes. We do not keep a separate customer database.

Cookies and source counts

An HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax signed cookie, qw_ent, stores your customer and subscription IDs and expires after 35 days. It is used to provide paid access and is cleared by Log out. A restore link can be used again until its 15-minute expiry; keep it private.

Session storage remembers the first ?src campaign code in qw_src and passes it to checkout. Our cookieless beacon counts page views, source codes and actions such as checkout starts, downloads and sends. It uses a daily hash derived from connection IP and browser user-agent to deduplicate counts, and distinguishes test and crawler traffic. Quote content and email addresses are not sent to the beacon. Do not put personal details in source codes.

Service providers and retention

Cloudflare serves the site and processes requests; Stripe processes payments; Resend delivers emails. These providers process connection, transaction or delivery records under their own retention policies and may process data outside your country. We use these data to deliver the service, administer subscriptions and understand aggregate usage. Payment records may be retained for accounting obligations.

Your choices

Clear the draft in the tool or clear site data to remove browser-held quote data. Log out to remove the access cookie. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal information held through our service providers, subject to required payment record retention. You can raise a privacy concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
